The City of Ocala Municipal Golf Course is located at 3130 NE Silver Springs Boulevard, Ocala, Florida. The scope of this project was to analyze the current drainage patterns for the golf course and determine the pre-development 100-year 24-hour discharge volume contributing runoff to SR 40 right-of-way. The analysis included delineation of drainage basins based upon LiDAR and topographic survey, development of runoff curve number calculations, time of concentration calculations, and existing depressional stage storage calculations for the creation of an ICPR model of the affected area. Project responsibilities consisted of historic document research, coordination with City staff, and development of a Final Drainage Study to document the discharge volume and points of runoff contributing flooding to SR 40.
